Samsung is all about tablets with its MWC2017. The Galaxy Tab S3 is in its way. It is not the only tablet that is lined up by the company. There are rumors of Galaxy TabPro S successor, but, as per the app that popped up at the Windows Store, it will not be known as a Galaxy TabPro S2. Instead, it may be referred to as a Galaxy Book.
This Galaxy Book is a Windows 10 device and there is the app found on the app store of the Windows. Whether, the Galaxy Book is same as the Galaxy TabPro S is not known, though feature wise it seems to be the same.
The Galaxy Book settings app reveals two notable features: a Pen and an AMOLED display. These features are on the Galaxy TabPro S, thereby strengthening the association. Apart from this, no other detail is apparent and thus the Galaxy Book is shrouded in mystery.
Another mysterious fact is that this tablet will have a flip and fold type same as the Lenovo Yoga Book or maybe it will have a detachable like Microsoft Surface Book. There is no indication, but with Galaxy TabPro S will be a tablet and a keyboard cover as the Apple Smart Keyboard.
Another Windows 10 Galaxy tablet raises questions about the Samsung’s “Galaxy” brand. It was easy to differentiate the Galaxy line as it had Android-powered devices earlier, though Samsung reserved its ATIV name for its Windows devices. With a Windows-powered Galaxy device, this time Samsung might be re-defining the brand to cover a gamut of mobile devices.
