The 2016 Paris Auto Show is set to start on 29th September, but Honda has already unveiled its 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. Well, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will be there during the 2016 Paris Auto Show along with the 2017 Honda Civic Sedan and the 2017 Honda Civic Coupe. Most of the auto lovers will certainly find the 2016 Paris Auto show pretty interesting this time.
The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will be using the 10 generation Platform and so will probably the other cars in the league namely Honda Civic Sedan and Honda Civic Coupe. The hatchback is all set to be manufactured in Swindon, England, but sadly its initial foot will be the United States market. The last time a Honda Civic hatchback hit the United States market was back when the seventh generation of the car was launched.
According to the official announcements made in this regard, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, will have 5 different variants based on sizes. There will be Hatchback LX, Sport, EX-L, EX and Sport Touring. But only one variant of engine will be used for all the cars. The engine will be a 1.5 liter turbocharged with inline 4. The same engine will be invariably used for the Honda Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe as well. The 1.5 liter turbocharged engine is expected to produce a power of 174 HP along with a 162 pound per feet of torque.
Reports also have it that the makers are also working on new Si and Type R models, which will supposedly have 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, producing up to 304 HP. The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will be having a front wheel drive and is expected to give a healthy average of 34 miles per gallon. The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will also have all the modern day features like Road departure sense, hill start assist, easy smartphone integration to the car and much more.
