Subaru announces pricing on all-new 2019 Ascent three-row SUV. Subaru of America Inc. today announced that the 2019 Ascent SUV, the biggest Subaru ever built will start at $31,995.


The Ascent will have a 2.4-liter turbocharged flat-four engine that will produce 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque and standard all-wheel drive.

There is a spacious interior, comfortable and flexible seating options, a host of new safety, in-vehicle and driver assist technologies.

Built on a strengthened and extended version of the Subaru Global Platform, the Ascent with a 113.8-in. The wheelbase has up to 153.5 cubic feet of passenger volume and up to 86.5 cubic feet of cargo space. It is available in base, Limited, Premium, and Touring trim lines. The rear doors open to 75-degrees, for straightforward access to the third row.

The base Ascent includes three-zone automatic climate control, 19 cup holders, 18-inch wheels, and four USB ports. The standard 6.5-inch infotainment system has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Ascent Premium starts at the $34,195 which packs blind-spot monitoring, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, rear seat climate controls, and a larger, 8-inch infotainment system with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Navigation, keyless access, a panoramic roof, and reverse automatic braking are also available.

Move up to the $34,195 Ascent Limited. The automaker adds the Limited tacks on leather seats, LED fog lights, keyless access, steering-responsive LED headlights, second-row retractable sunshades, two extra USB ports, and keyless access. Navigation, premium audio, and a panoramic moonroof are available as options.

The Ascent Touring begins at the $44,695 and it is available only in seven-passenger form. It packs ventilated front seats, another pair of USB ports, a 180-degree forward facing camera, a 120-volt power outlet, and rain-sensing wipers.
