HelloFresh acquired Green Chef, which is a vegan and organic food delivery company founded in 2014 by Michael Joseph and based in Boulder, while the companies have not disclosed the dealing price yet.

World’s biggest meal kit company, HelloFresh ranks second among key markets in the United States. The company claims that it will be passing in the U.S. sales, the industry pioneer company – Blue Apron. HelloFresh has delivered around 39.5 million meals to nearly 1.45 million active customers within a period of 3 months as from October to December.

HelloFresh wants to reach along with Green Chef to the customers using meal kits to reshape their diets, according to the company’s president for North America and also a member of the Global Management Board, Tobias Hartmann.
