President Donald Trump was high praises about Pope Francis at the Vatican after his meeting with him in May. But that was not such a happy occasion for Sean Spicer his press secretary. Spicer, a devoted Roman Catholic was left out of Trump’s retinue to meet the Argentine Pontiff in a move that was elucidated as a snub by the President to his fortified representative.The exclusion meant to many as a snub by Trump against the beset assistant and gathered empathy on social media.
However, now since its one month after his departure from Trump’s White House, Spicer could eventually encountered Francis. He was so thrilled that he took photos to remember the occasion. Spicer was a constituent of a group of politicians and legislators that assembled for a meeting at the Vatican. The Pope welcomed and addressed the group known as the International Catholic Legislators Network, and the photos show Spicer greeting Francis.
Spicer was present in the first row of in the audience hall where he clicked photo of Francis on his phone. This was represented in an image posted on Vatican Radio’s English language Facebook page. While Spicer was in the White House he was a persistent defender of Trump often to his own embarrassment. But Spicer put his paper down on July 21st after which Trump appointed Anthony Scaramucci as White House director of communications. Scaramucci was in the office only for 10 days before resigning. But Spicer survives till August end.
